Terms of Acceptable Use
Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Constituents Engagement Portal
Please review our Rules and Policies which is the Community Guidelines and are part of the User Agreement and outline what is prohibited on the Portal. You may use the Portal only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. By accessing or using MyConstituent App, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
You are not permitted to use MyConstituent App to do the following:
1. Community Guidelines
Disrupt the peace and brotherhood of the Cross River South constituents who registered on the portal.
Promote hate campaign such as incitement of fear, dehumanization and the use of hateful symbol and logos.
Promote violence speech such as violence threat, incitement of violence and glorification of violence.
Share contents, information or news that has not been verified.
Share or promote disturbing and sensitive media such as adult nudity, sexual behavior and sexual conducts.
Share or promote spam contents such as financial scams, posting of malicious links and fake engagement.
Use of deceptive identities such as impersonation and operation of fake/parody account.
Threaten to share/expose private information, sharing of images of individual that he/she does not want on the platform.
Share or promote any content that target private individual to degrade or shame them.
Share any graphic image for sadistic pleasure or violence.
Use harsh and insulting language.
2. Action by The Admins
If, in our report evaluation, we found out that you have engaged in any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, we may (with or without notice to you) take such actions as we deem appropriate to ensure compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy. Such actions may include:
Suspending, restricting or terminating your access to and use of the MyConstituent App.
Suspending from sharing any content on MyConstituent App
3. Updates, Modifications & Amendments
The Standard Media may need to update, modify or amend this Terms of Use Policy at any time. We reserve the right to make changes to this Acceptable Use Policy.
Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by MyConstituent App. Our Privacy Policy is to help you make an informed decision when you use MyConstituent App by making sure you understand and have control over the information we collect, how it’s used, and when it’s shared.
What happen with my data?
The information or data we collect from you when you use MyConstituent App falls into two categories: Information you provide us and Information we collect when you use MyConstituent App.
1. Information you provide us
To use our Portal, you need to have an account, and to create an account, you need to provide us certain information. If you create an account, you must provide us with some information so that we can grant you access to our Portal. This includes a display name (your First and Last name), a username (an email address); a password, a phone number, your LGA, Political Ward and Poling Unit. Your profile information, which includes your display name, LGA, Political Ward and Polling Unit is always public
2. Information we collect when you use MyConstituent App
Device Information: We collect information from and about the devices you use to access MyConstituent App such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and related information.
Usage Information: We collect information about your activity on MyConstituent App, such as Posts and other content you post (including the date) and your interactions with other users’ content, such as likes, comments and saved Posts.
Location Information: When you use MyConstituent App, we collect some information about your approximate location
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate MyConstituent App services. We also use the information we collect to improve and personalize our services so that you have a better experience on MyConstituent Portal. We use the information we collect from you to do the following:
Enforce safety and Security
We use information we collect to provide for the safety and security of our users, our services, and your account. This includes verifying your identity, authenticating your account, and defending against fraud, unauthorized use, and illegal activity. We also use the information to evaluate and enforce our policies and terms, as well as applicable law.
Analyze and make our service better
We use the information we collect to measure and analyze the effectiveness of our Portal and to better understand how you use them in order to make them better.
Communicate with you about our service
We use the information we collect to communicate with you about our services such as updates and changes to our policies and terms. If you’re open to hearing from us, we may also send you updates on Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong activities in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Research
We use information you share with us, or that we collect to conduct research, testing and troubleshooting to help us operate and improve Portal.
How we share your information

2. We may share your information with our service provider that perform functions and provide services on our behalf.

How long do you keep User data?
We keep your profile information and content for the duration of your account. When you violate our Rules and your account is suspended, we may keep the identifiers you used to create the account (i.e email address) to prevent repeat policy offenders from creating new accounts.
Will MyConstituent App make changes to this Privacy Policy?
We may make changes to this privacy policy, which come into effect upon updating this page. We will provide you notice and an opportunity to review the updated Privacy Policy before you continue to use MyConstituent App.
